Khaled Katta (Damascus, 1972) is a cartoonist who lives in Gaziantep, Turkey. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Damascus University. Kattaa is a consultant in the field of administrative development for businesses, for which he uses comics and illustrations. His work has been published in various Syrian and Arab journals, and he is currently a caricature artist for the Syrian weekly magazine Abyadh wa Aswad (which means “Black and White”), besides contributing to the online edition. He recently published his first book with stories for teenagers, The Human Kingdom, and has participated in several art and caricature exhibitions in Damascus and Sweden.
